This study is investigating the medication solrikitug for its safety and effective treatment of COPD in adults. This drug works by blocking a chain reaction in the immune system that contributes to inflammation, which can lead to a flare-up.

Qualifying participants will be enrolled at a local study site, where healthcare professionals will oversee the under-the-skin injection of either the study drug or a placebo. This study takes place over 10 visits to the study site. The total time, including follow-up, is 28 weeks.

COPD can cause shortness of breath, wheezing, chronic coughing, and frequent mucus buildup in the lungs. Any of these symptoms can stand in the way of a great day or a good night's sleep.

COPD can also lead to fatigue and low energy, making it harder to engage in normal daily activities. 

Other symptoms of COPD may include being more prone to infections or other illnesses, having to limit your exposure to crowds, or more frequent trips to the healthcare provider.
